Safeguard was developed for the purpose of making change in the lives of those youth that have experienced difficulties.  Our staff works closely with the families to help them through this difficult decision, helping make all the arrangements with programs and professionals as well as provide any additional assistance or support we can.  Similarly our staff strives to assist students as they transition to their programs to make it both positive and successful as we hope to be an instrument towards helping change individuals’ lives.

Owners: Dana Cox and Sam Harward

Dana Cox has been working in the human service field since 1990. He holds a masters degree in social work and has extensive training in counseling and behavior management. His work experience has been in private and public agencies including as a therapist in a residential treatment facility.

Sam Harward has over 15 years experience in working with adolescents.  He has helped over 1,000 families and their at-risk youth in getting the help they need.  Sam holds a degree in Social Work and has worked extensively with families.  He has been with Safeguard since it's beginnings in 2000 and enjoys working directly with families and their teens.
